In July 2010 Formway Group Metering Pty Limited (FGM) entered into a partnership with the world renowned meter manufacturer Holley Metering Limited (HML) as the exclusive distributor of Holley products in the Australia/New Zealand region.
The two parties will work together to develop and deliver smart and traditional metering solutions for the Australian and New Zealand marketplace.

Established in 1970, Holley Metering Limited is a truly global supplier, currently exporting to over 40 countries worldwide. HML are one of the largest meter manufacturers in China, with current manufacture in excess of 12 million meters per annum, and a designed manufacturing capacity of 25 million meters per annum.
HML manufactures and has deployed a number of AMI/AMR solutions for the Asian region utilizing PLC/DLC, Zigbee wireless mesh and GPRS communications technologies. The dedicated Overseas Research and Development group at Holley has recently developed smart meters according to the Dutch NTA8130 specification, a specification based upon open standards such as DLMS that will enable manufacturer interoperability.
Building upon the existing smart meter platform, a range of smart meters are currently being tailored to suit the Australia/New Zealand market. The (Australian) National Smart Metering Program (NSMP) functional requirements are being followed, and Formway will also be seeking input on requirements from its valued utility customers in both Australia and New Zealand throughout the development process.
FGM will begin introducing the Holley product range to the market towards the end of 2010 following the completion of localized enhancements and Australian Pattern Approvals.
