FGM-3303B Free-Standing Poly-Phase Meter Tester

Product Overview
Description:

The FGM-3303B is a complete, high-accuracy meter calibration and testing solution. It consists of a power supply and error processing unit (FGM-3303), and a Class 0.05 external reference standard Watt-hour meter (FGM-5303C) combined in a free-standing cabinet, with 3 meter hangers.

The Watt-hour meter is used as the power monitoring instrument and thus can deliver a high accuracy measurement, and the error processing unit allows automated testing of up to 3 meters.

The device can be computer controlled via the included testing software, or directly through the front control panel and colour LCD.

The supplied DLL library allows full control over the device which can be integrated into user-developed applications.

The device comprises of the following major components:
  • High-stability, poly-phase, computer-controlled power source
  • 3 x Integrated error processors
  • Grade 0.05 poly-phase standard Watt-hour meter operating as the power monitoring instrument
  • Free-standing, self-contained cabinet
  • Optical scanning heads

The high-stability, poly-phase, power supply and error processors are utilized from the FGM-3303 to allow automated measurement of the device under test.

Having three integrated error processors, up to three metering devices can be tested simultaneously.

FGM-5303

The high accuracy (Class 0.05) standard Watt-hour meter is utilized from the FGM-5303 as the power monitoring instrument for the FGM-3303B, substituting the built-in unit.

It comprises of a high-speed DSP, and separation of voltage and current inputs by a passive transformer, providing high accuracy and great stability.
